The most sustained and meaningful way to support Avara is through membership. Whether you join as a Seed, Root, or Forest member, your contribution goes directly into the land, the training centre, and the community around us — and in return you stay genuinely close to everything that is growing here.

Volunteer
If you feel called to contribute your time and skills in person, our volunteer programme is the most direct way to be part of Avara. You will live and work on the land, alongside a small and committed community, in one of Namibia's most wild and naturally beautiful regions.
Volunteering at Avara is built on reciprocity. You bring your skills and presence. We provide accommodation, community, and an experience of living with nature that is difficult to find anywhere else.

One—Off Donations
Not ready for a membership, but still want to contribute to the project?
A one-off donation of any size goes directly into supporting the project and the food systems we are developing — directed wherever we see it most needed in the moment.
