VILLAGE

Avara Village is where the human side of regeneration takes shape.
It is not separate from the land — it is part of it.

Avara Village is a space in the making — and it is opening up.

From the beginning, Avara has been built as more than a farm. The vision for Avara Village is a living space where people can come — to work, to learn, to rest, and to be in relationship with land that is actively regenerating.

We are at the early stages of that opening. Right now, the most direct way to be part of Avara Village is through our volunteer programme — joining the team on the ground, contributing real skills, and experiencing daily life here from the inside. Beyond that, farm visits are coming soon, on-site accommodation is in development, and further down the road we envision hosting retreats for those who want to spend deeper, more intentional time with the land and the community.

It is all being built slowly — but it is being built with you in mind.

Shared Spaces.

Our Community Centre will be a gathering space here at Avara, revolving around shared spaces and intentional living. Off-grid, with our own sustainable water and power sources, our space invites you to slow down and reconnect with the land.

A community kitchen where meals are cooked and eaten together, gardens with organic herbs and vegetables, working areas to stay connected, and gathering spaces to slow down naturally at the end of a long day.

These spaces are being built slowly and intentionally. The community centre and additional shared infrastructure are currently under development, but we are very excited to welcome you here in the future.

Whether for a day or an extended stay, soon we are opening Avara up to those who want to experience what is being built here — not as spectators, but as people genuinely present with the land and the work.

Visit Us

Volunteering

Our volunteer programme is the most immediate way to be part of Avara right now. It is hands-on, practical, and based on genuine reciprocity — you contribute your skills and presence, and in return you gain real experience with regenerative land systems, community life, and agroforestry in practice.

Farm Visits

Farm visits are coming soon — a chance to spend a day on the land, walk the food forests, understand the systems we are building, and share a meal with the people who tend it. Visits are guided by respect for the place, the work, and the people here. Not a tour — an invitation to be present with something real.

Accommodation

Simple, comfortable on-site accommodation is currently under development for those who want to spend more than a day at Avara — whether attending a course, volunteering, or simply seeking time with the land.

If you'd like to visit, volunteer, or stay at Avara, we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch and we'll take it from there.
